Pickering-0 @ St. Michael's-6
REID STOPS 68-SHOTS IN SOLID PERFORMANCE...

TORONTO, ON: Even though the final score was 6-0 in favour of the Buzzers, Pickering goaltender Terrence Reid had no reason to skate off with his head down – unless he was exhausted. Reid faced 74-shots, stopping 68 of them. And don’t think that St. Mike’s took their foot off the gas and Reid was making routine stops, despite the commanding lead the final two shifts of the game saw St. Mike’s top two lines pepper Reid. Cassiani (the Buzzers leading scorer) scored with under two minutes left on the PP, and Louke Oakley was stopped point by Reid on the games final shift.

The Panthers were forced to dress five APM players against St. Mike’s, giving midget players in the system a taste of the best team in the South Conference.

Pickering’s remaining schedule now includes two make-up games. Wednesday February 6th has Pickering visiting North York for their first “snow-day” makeup game. The Panthers then return home for a meeting with the Vaughan Vipers on Friday February 8th – game time is 7:30pm.
