PANTHERS AGGRESSIVE IN SEARCH
FOR NEW HEAD COACH...
PICKERING, ON The search for a new bench-boss in Pickering is entering its final stages, as the Panthers look to fill their vacant coaching positions in the immediate future.
President John Porco, General Manager Gary Waters, and the Hockey Operations Staff with the Panthers have been conducting interviews in their search for a new Head Coach, and coaching support staff.
The Panthers plan on being very ‘aggressive’ in recruiting for the upcoming season, and will improve on last season’s performance.
Just one-year removed from a berth in the South Conference Final, and a year that saw six players accept offers to the NCAA (including Maine, Lake Superior State, Mercyhurst), Pickering’s new coach will be pressed into action immediately, as the team re-builds and re-tools for the 2008-2009 season.
